WordPress plugin
WP Travel Plus
A travel planner and journal for friends and family.
For families who travel together
WP Travel Plus is the WordPress plugin I built to plan and journal our family’s trips. It powered the travel section of this site before I moved it to Astro, and the Travel pages here are built on the same ideas.
Features
- Trips with statuses for the whole journey: bucket list, dreaming, active and a memory
- Trip dates that update automatically from the activities logged
- Activities for transport, accommodation, tours and sightseeing, with photos, location, weather and temperature
- Public activities to share, and private ones for personal details and documents
- Traveller profiles with an interactive world map and travel statistics
- Front-end forms so family and friends can add to a trip without the WordPress admin
